چکیده

Abstract How to improve the capacity of light‐harvesting is still an important point and essential strategy for assembling high‐efficiency quantum dot–sensitized solar cells (QDSCs). A believable approach implant new light absorption materials into QDSCs stimulate charge transfer. Herein, few‐layer black phosphorus dots (BPQDs) are synthesized by electrochemical intercalation technology using bulk BP as source. Then obtained BPQDs deposited onto surface Zn–Cu–In–S–Se (ZCISSe) QD‐sensitized TiO 2 substrate serve another material first time. The experimental results have shown that can not only increase intensity photoanode but also reduce unnecessary recombination processes at interface photoanode/electrolyte. Through optimizing size deposition process BPQDs, champion power conversion efficiency ZCISSe increased 15.66% (26.88 mA/cm , V oc = 0.816 V, fill factor [FF] 0.714) when compared with original value 14.11% ( J sc 25.41 0.779 FF 0.713).

Impact ionization is a process in which absorbed photons in semiconductors that are at least twice the bandgap can produce multiple electron-hole pairs. For single-bandgap photovoltaic devices, this effect produces greatly enhanced theoretical thermodynamic conversion efficiencies that range from 45 85%, depending upon solar concentration, the cell temperature, and the number of electron-hole p...

Efficiency Enhancement of Si Solar Cells by Using Nanostructured Single and Double Layer Anti-Reflective Coatings

The effect of single and double-layer anti-reflective coatings on efficiency enhancement of silicon solar cells was investigated. The reflectance of different anti-reflection structures were calculated using the transfer matrix method and then to predict the performance of solar cells coated by these structures, the weighted average reflectance curves were used as an input of a PC1D simulation....

Control over Power Conversion Efficiency of BHJ Solar Cells: Learn more from Less, with Artificial Intelligence

Harvesting the energy from the sun through the bulk heterojunction (BHJ) solar cells need materials with specific electronic characteristics. However, any promising material if cast improperly in cells will end into low or even null power conversion efficiency (PCE). Cell casting optimization is a time/material consumable step in any photovoltaic manufacturing practice. In this study, we sh...
